Open Knowledge Base and locate the How To Card on How To Conduct a Medication Round ^*

Open a Residents Home Page and navigate to the Medication Chart, open the Mediation Chart (Cancel the Administer Medicines Box to access the Medication Chart) ^*

View the Allergies/Sensitivities, Communication Barriers and Medication Administration Directives on the Medication Chart ^*

From the Medication Chart Open the Weight & Vitals and the Progress Notes for a Resident ^*

From the Medication Chart View Medication Chart for Printing for the Resident ^*

Commence medication round by opening Medications Due Alert, Filter to a specific area, Administer medications for 1 Resident - add a comment during administration and select add this to the Progress Notes ^*

Open the Medication chart for the same Resident to view the administration details- scroll back to view previous administrations ^*

Administer a PRN from a Residents medication chart, once saved hover over blue box to display comment. ^*

Select a Resident to administer Medications, select Refused and save. Then change the administration details to reflect that the resident changed their mind and now wants the medication – administer the medication ^*

From the Med Chart or Med Admin Pop Up, select view medicine to open the EMims information ^*

Select your Resident, add a Nurse Initiated prescription, add the time so that you may administer it now and then administer the medication. ^*

Open the Medication Alerts - Open the Medicines Withheld for a period of time Alert ^*

Open Medication Alerts - Open the Periodic medications due alert, clear the Alert for 1 Resident ^*
